Henry M. Kohnlein  joined the firm in November of 2010 and practices in the Firm's Denver office, in the area of coordination of benefits (Medicare, Medicaid, workers compensation and insurance), administrative law, general liability defense and workers’ compensation defense.  Mr. Kohnlein also has experience in employment, alternative dispute resolution, professional malpractice, commercial litigation, appellate work and international law. 

Mr. Kohnlein earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Richmond School of Law, cum laude, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from The Pennsylvania State University.  In law school, Mr. Kohnlein participated in the Judge John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court competition and served as articles editor of The Richmond Journal of Global Law and Business.  Mr. Kohnlein has published several articles and presented many lectures on the Medicare Secondary Payer Act.  Prior to beginning law school, Mr. Kohnlein worked for Merrill Lynch Asset Management and Bankers Trust as an investment accountant.

Mr. Kohnlein is licensed to practice law in Colorado and is a member of the Colorado Bar Association.
