JEFF FRANCIS joined the Firm in July 2003. During his legal career, Mr. Francis has represented clients in numerous employment, personal injury, family law, and business law matters in both Colorado and Texas. Beginning in 1990, Mr. Francis now concentrates his practice primarily in the area of workers’ compensation defense.

In 1978, Mr. Francis graduated with high honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in government. At the University of Texas, Mr. Francis was nominated and accepted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, and Phi Eta Sigma honor societies. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Houston School of Law in 1981. During law school, Mr. Francis was research/book review editor of the Houston Journal of International Law, and assisted in the editing and publication of journal articles. Mr. Francis also earned his master of social work degree at the University of Houston Graduate School of Social Work in 1988.

Mr. Francis is licensed to practice law in Colorado and Texas. He is also licensed in the United States District Court, District of Colorado. He is a member of the Denver Bar Association and the Colorado Bar Association.

Mr. Francis grew up in Houston, Texas and relocated to Denver, Colorado in 1989. Taken with the beautiful Colorado environment, Mr. Francis enjoys camping, bicycling, hiking, and running.
