KATHERINE H.R. MACKEY joined the firm in June, 2007 and focuses her practice on workers' compensation defense.

Ms. Mackey received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan in 1988 and graduated from the University of Colorado with her Juris Doctor degree in 1991. While at the University of Colorado, Ms. Mackey was the Managing Editor for the Colorado Law Review from 1990 to 1991. Ms. Mackey also has experience in general civil litigation, malpractice defense, employment law and insurance defense.

Ms. Mackey is an active personal trainer, fitness instructor and cycling instructor. She spends her volunteer time bringing public art to her community and raising funds for the Colorado SIDS Program.

Ms. Mackey is licensed to practice in Colorado and the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. She is also a member of the Denver and Colorado Bar Associations.
