KENT L. YARBROUGH focuses his practice on workers' compensation law. He has over thirty years of professional experience. Prior to joining Ruegsegger Simons, Mr. Yarbrough worked as in-house defense counsel for a large insurance company, where he obtained a first hand view of the workers' compensation process form the "inside."

Outside the courtroom, Mr. Yarbrough has lectured businessmen and legal professionals on workers' compensation issues. Mr. Yarbrough has coached with the Jefferson County Junior Baseball Association, women's 18 and under competitive softball, and coached football with the Alameda/Green Mountain Junior Football Association.

Mr. Yarbrough graduated from Memphis State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Production Management. In 1974, the University of Denver College of Law awarded Mr. Yarbrough his Juris Doctor degree.

Mr. Yarbrough is licensed to practice law in Colorado, Alaska, and Texas. He maintains membership in the Colorado Bar Association and has served as a member and secretary of the Board of Directors of the Workers' Compensation Section of the Colorado Bar Association.
