LISA A. SIMONS, a member of the firm, focuses her practice primarily on workers’ compensation defense. Ms. Simons also has experience in general civil litigation and bad faith insurance coverage.

A native of New York, Ms. Simons attended Hofstra University where she majored in accounting and graduated cum laude with a Bachelors in Business Administration. In 1990, Ms. Simons graduated cum laude from New York Law School with a Juris Doctor degree. While in law school Ms. Simons received numerous American Jurisprudence Awards and she was an Articles Editor of the New York Law School Law Review. She was also a moot court finalist.

Ms. Simons is licensed to practice law in Colorado, New York, and California. She is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. Ms. Simons maintains memberships in the American Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association, and the Denver Bar Association.
