LYNDA S. NEWBOLD joined the firm in November of 2007. She has focused her practice on the defense of employers and insurance carriers in workers' compensation matters for over twenty years. During that time, Ms. Newbold has lectured employer groups, self-insured's and attorneys on various topics including defense of workers' compensation cases and safety matters.

Ms. Newbold graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She then attended Tulane University School of Law, earning her Juris Doctor degree in 1984. She was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1985 and the Colorado Bar in 1990.

Ms. Newbold served as law clerk to Louisiana Supreme Court Justice Harry T. Lemmon from 1985 to 1987. Upon entering private practice, she handled workers' compensation defense cases at the New Orleans law form of Sutherland & Juge for two years. Ms. Newbold moved to Colorado in 1989 where she has continued to concentrate her practice in the area of workers' compensation defense.

Ms. Newbold is a member of the Colorado and Denver Bar Association, as well as the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association and Professionals in Workers' Compensation.
