RICHARD J. LIBY joined Ruegsegger Simons in 2006 after practicing in Kansas for 12 years. He practices workers' compensation defense.

Mr. Liby is a native of Concordia, Kansas. He received his undergraduate degree from Southwestern College in 1990 and graduated magna cum laude. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas in 1993. Mr. Liby was the Publications Editor of the Kansas Journal of Law and Public Policy. Prior to his current position, Mr. Liby was a partner at one of Kansas' leading litigation firms, McDonald, Tinker, Skaer, Quinn & Herrington, P.A.

Mr. Liby is a member of the Wichita and Kansas Bar Associations and is licensed to practice in the States of Texas, Kansas, Colorado, the United States District Court for the District of Kansas, and the United States Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
