THOMAS M. STERN is a member of the firm. Mr. Stern’s practice consists primarily of civil litigation with an emphasis on workers’ compensation insurance defense. Mr. Stern has successfully defended hundreds of workers’ compensation claims through trial, specializing in the defense of compensability and permanent total disability claims.

A Denver native, Mr. Stern attended the University of Colorado School of Business and Administration, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing in 1989. In 1993, Mr. Stern received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego, graduating cum laude. While in law school, Mr. Stern served as a Student Bar Association representative.

Mr. Stern is licensed to practice law in Colorado, California, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. Mr. Stern holds memberships in the American Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association, and the Denver Bar Association. Mr. Stern is also a member of the Colorado Defense Lawyers’ Association in the Workers’ Compensation Section.
