VITO A. RACANELLI is a member of the firm and practices in the Denver office. He represents employers and insurers in workers' compensation claims.

Mr. Racanelli was born in Woodstock, Illinois. He graduated with a degree in accounting from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. By 2001, he was working for a public accounting firm and operating a small business in Chicago. Mr. Racanelli then moved to Colorado to attend the University of Colorado Law School, where he served as president of the Rothgerber moot court board of directors and graduated in 2004.

Mr. Racanelli joined the firm in 2005. He was named the Outstanding Respondents' Attorney for 2009 by the PWC. He was recently appointed as an adjunct professor at the University of Colorado Law School, where he taught the school's first workers' compensation course. He also authored the workers' compensation section of the CBA's Annual Law Review from 2008-2010. Mr. Racanelli is married with two children, and he is a kidney donor. His favorite hobbies are skiing and fishing.
