WENDY A.L. NEWELL joined the firm in 2009. She is licensed to practice law in Colorado, Kansas and Nebraska. She practices workers' compensation defense and also has experience in the areas of criminal defense and general civil litigation.

Ms. Newell earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at the University of Kansas in 1999 and received her Juris Doctor degree from the Creighton University School of Law in 2002. She was a national trial team semi-finalist and awarded for excellence in negotiations.

Ms. Newell lives in Denver with her husband, daughter and two poodles. She enjoys travel, cycling, and playing the piano.
