COURTNEY NIGHTENGALE is an Attorney at Ruegsegger Simons & Stern, LLC. Mr. Nightengale joined the firm in 2016. He focuses his practice in litigation, with an emphasis in workers’ compensation matters, including insurance defense. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Nightengale prosecuted more than sixty jury trials as a Deputy District Attorney for Colorado’s First Judicial District.
Mr. Nightengale is a member of the Colorado Bar Association. Mr. Nightengale has given CLE presentations regarding legal ethics in workers compensation matters, served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Criminal Law Review at the University of Denver, and was captain of his college wrestling team.
Courtney Nightengale was born in Dodge City, Kansas. He is the father to two young boys, coaches wrestling at Littleton High School, and enjoys making homemade ice cream with his wife and family.
